The Court of Appeal in Tirana  has changed the security measure from " prison arrest " to " house arrest " for the three suspected perpetrators of the murder of Martin Çeço .

The three suspected perpetrators, Valter Mollaj , his cousin Edlir Molla j and shepherd Bledi Angjo, have been released by the Court of Appeal, after the latter found that the detention order issued on 20.06.2022 had lost its force, due to exceeding the maximum stay period.

Murder investigations continue for all 3 people.

Regarding the event, we recall that 26-year-old  Martin Çeço  was killed and then thrown into the reservoir of the village of Kolanec, Maliq, in June 2022.
