A car hit a teenager on "Bujar Bishanaku" Boulevard in Shkodra yesterday afternoon and then fled the scene.

The minor was taken to the hospital, where it was reported that she had sustained injuries to her leg.

According to the official announcement, the 17-year-old girl has reported the perpetrator. Police are working to identify and arrest him.

Shkodra police announcement:

Yesterday afternoon, a 17-year-old girl presented herself at the Shkodra Regional Hospital, stating that on "Bujar Bishanaku" Boulevard, a vehicle with a driver she did not identify, hit her on the foot and drove away. After receiving medical assistance, the minor went home.

Meanwhile, work is underway to identify and hold the driver of the vehicle criminally liable, as well as to clarify the circumstances of the case.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for further action.
