The Minister of State for Relations with Parliament, Taulant Balla , was also present at the plenary session of the Italian Senate.

Albania and Italy reached an agreement on the recognition of social security contributions on February 6, 2024.

The agreement was signed in Rome by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, and the Italian Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani.

The government is in an advanced process of reaching an agreement to begin negotiations with France, while it is also working on an agreement with Greece.
