The Vlora Border Police have fined two people and blocked their watercraft, as they are suspected of sailing close to the coast, endangering the safety of vacationers.

According to the police report, one of the cases was recorded on Seman beach, where a "Jet Ski" type watercraft was observed moving near the shore, creating a danger for vacationers. The driver of the vehicle, citizen ED, was fined 500 thousand new lek, and his watercraft was blocked.

Another case was found in the area called "Hidrovorit Beach", where the Border Police services have identified a dinghy type floating vehicle that was moving illegally near vacationers. The verifications resulted in the driver of the vehicle, citizen JH, not having the relevant documentation.

For this violation, he was fined 510 thousand new lek and the vessel was administratively impounded.

The State Police has appealed to users of watercraft and entities that operate them to respect navigation rules and security perimeters, warning of immediate measures against any violation.
