In the trial against Leonard Duka and Dritan Bardhi, Klevin Halili also testified, stating before the court that he had never had a personal acquaintance with Duka.
In his testimony, Halili spoke about his social relationship and collaboration with model Trejsi Sejdini , with whom he said he had traveled to New York in early 2020.
He explained that his stay in the US was extended due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and that during that period he was unaware of any connection between Sejdin and Duka, which, according to him, he had only learned about from the media.
Klevin Halili testifies: I have never heard of Leonard Duka. I know Trejsi Sejdini, I have friends with her and we are connected by cooperation. We have friends. We have been on vacation abroad. In January 2020, I was in America with Trejsi Sejdini. We lived in New York. The purpose of the trip was for fun for 1 month to visit New York. We got stuck there because we got infected with Covid, Trejsi was forced to rent a house there, while I lived with my sister. I am not aware of what income Trejsi lived on. She stayed with me, we did photo shoots. We stayed at home, we made a living, nothing more. We were connected by close friendship and work. I was not aware of any sentimental relationship Trejsi had during that period.
Extradition of Leonard Duka:
I haven't heard anyone talk about Leonard Duka. I found out about this from the media, it was during the period when I was in America. I didn't ask Trajsi, nor did she ask me about the connections I had. Trajsi Sejdini had his own things, he would withdraw money in America from transfer points. The money came from Albania. On 4-5 occasions I withdrew money for Trajsi Sejdini. You show up with a code, receive the shipment and I wasn't interested in who sent it. Trajsi didn't tell me who sent the money, it was family and friends. They sent money too. I have acquaintances in America. I'm not the curious type to be interested in who sent it. I don't know if they were money for crime or not. I found out from the media that Trajsi and Leonard Duka had a relationship. I've never met Leonard Duka, he has supported Trajsi financially several times when he was stuck in America. I don't remember how much money he helped him with. We planned to stay for 1 month and 1 week. I would stay at my sister's place, while Trajsi got an Airbnb. My expenses were paid by my sister and her people, my mom and dad. My parents sent $600-800 from time to time. $600-1000 were the amounts of money that I withdrew for Trajsi's ??account. Here I was performing as a service because she had work, photoshoots, etc.
