A currency exchange point in the 5 May area was robbed a short while ago.

A person with a gun entered the store and, under threat, took a sum of money and left.

The police have arrived at the scene, but it is still unknown how much money was taken.

At around 09:10, on "5 Maji" street, an unidentified citizen, under threat of an object that appeared to be a firearm (pistol), stole a sum of money from a currency exchange point inside a shopping center and fled the scene.

Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services went to the scene, cordoned off the area and set up checkpoints on the surrounding road axes.

Police services are combing the area and are continuing checks with the aim of catching the perpetrator.

Meanwhile, the investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the case.
