Preliminary hearing for the "Meta" case postponed

The preliminary hearing against former President Ilir Meta, his ex-wife, Monika Kryemadhi, and three other defendants has been postponed to March 12. The reason was the absence of Pirro Xhixho's lawyers.

We recall that in the February 26 session, Meta and Kryemadhi requested the dismissal of the case.

We recall that on August 29, the Special Prosecution Office brought to trial the country's former president, Ilir Meta, and Kryemadhi, who are facing three charges: corruption, money laundering, and failure to declare assets.
