The long grave is one of the centuries-old places in the village of Gjinoqare in the Municipality of Patos, where legend and tradition, generation after generation, have turned it into a monument of pilgrimage, prayer and hope.
But what is most important, according to the legends, is that this place accepts prayers that are made for goodness and not for malice or to harm someone.
The guardian of this place tells the legend, as he heard it from his ancestors. Someone else knows him as a warrior, and the place where he fell, according to him, does not accept contempt or prayers for evil.
For the Fierak historian, Ilrijan Gjika, the Long Tomb, although based only on oral tradition and legend, has already been identified as a place that attracts many believers.
While he admits that archeological excavations have never been carried out in that place.
There can be differences between legend, belief and reality. But the fact is that believers in this country find positive energy and peace of mind, good things that they have received for centuries like nowhere else.
