Yesterday, the Assembly of Albania approved with 102 votes in favor the package of changes to the Road Code, where ease and simplification of services for citizens stand out.

The changes have to do with the terms of license renewals, the limitation of the types of vehicles that young drivers can drive, in relation to the profession of driving school instructor, but also in relation to Police fines for citizens.

Until yesterday, all the drivers who were fined by the Police, if they went and paid the fine within five days, they got a 20% discount.

But, from today, every driver who has been fined, if he goes and pays it within 15 days, he gets a 50% discount. This was an initiative of the General Directorate of Road Transport Services.
