A vehicle driven by 31-year-old Imer Krrashi was pursued today by the 'Eagle' forces.

Imer Krrashi was stopped for a search in the Liqeni i Thatë area, but when the officers asked to search the vehicle, the 31-year-old, who was armed, quickly fled in an attempt to escape towards Tegu.

In the pursuit, he searched for 7 vehicles as well as a motorcycle on which an off-duty police officer was riding, along with his wife.

As a result of the collision, the policeman was injured and his wife is also in serious condition, but fortunately both are out of danger.

After an intense pursuit, Imer Krrashi was placed in handcuffs and his pistol was seized.

At around 12:30, at Liqeni i Thatë, the "Eagle" Special Force stopped a vehicle driven by citizen IK, 31 years old, after receiving information that the 31-year-old was carrying a firearm.

After being stopped, when the Police informed him that he and the vehicle would be searched, the 31-year-old continued driving at high speed, crashing into several vehicles and a motorcycle. As a result, the driver and passenger in the motorcycle were injured and are in hospital.

After an intense pursuit, the vehicle was stopped. During the search of the vehicle, a firearm was found.

"More detailed information will be provided at the conclusion of the procedural actions," the police announced.
