The mystery of Ervis Martinaj's loss of contact with his family has put the investigation team in difficulty, since for the first time the prosecution has opened an investigation into kidnapping, while the 40-year-old was wanted internationally on the basis of an arrest warrant from SPAK.

Sources trusted by News24 said that the prosecutor's office has started interception and surveillance of persons suspected of having contact with Martinaj.

Meanwhile, checks are being carried out in several places that there are doubts that Martinaj used as a base to escape from the police.

The investigators have turned their eyes to Vlora, a city where Martinaj is thought to have had strong connections and acquaintances. The investigations started after the report of Faik Martinaj, the uncle of the 40-year-old much wanted by justice, who denounced the loss of contact with his nephew and raised suspicions that something bad might have happened to him due to the clashes he has with criminal groups that have interest to eliminate it.

The lines of investigation are open, on the one hand there are doubts that the event may have been staged by Martinaj himself to escape the opponents and the police, on the other hand there are no suspicions that they could be before a criminal event.
