The professor of criminology, Ervin Karamuço, announces that there are dangerous people in "Skënderbej" square, who rob citizens by threatening them with weapons. 

Through a post on social networks, he warns citizens to be careful. According to Karamuço, even though two people were arrested four days ago, another dangerous group is still attacking the citizens violently.

"Since the State Police does not notify, I have a moral and civic obligation to do it myself. Please be careful in Skënderbej Square, because the theft of citizens continues at gunpoint. Although two people were arrested 4 days ago, another group continues to violently attack citizens, taking your wallets and mobile phones. 2 new cases happened 1 hour ago." - writes Karamuço on social networks.

On December 24, the Tirana Police announced the arrest of two young men, respectively a 20-year-old and a 16-year-old, because under the threat of a knife and a fake pistol, they robbed various citizens who came out to enjoy the festive atmosphere in Skënderbej Square.

"As part of the "Saga" operation, the citizens KB, 20 years old and RB, 16 years old, both residents of Tirana, were arrested in the act, and the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, and the proceedings started in a free state for a 14-year-old.

Police services have arrested these citizens in the act, in "Skënderbej" square, after threatening them with cutting tools (knives) and with a fake pistol, they had stolen the personal belongings of 3 citizens, during the last few days",  reported the Police . of Tirana five days ago.
