The Chief State Prosecutor in Kosovo has announced that the spokesperson of the Prosecutor's Office in Peja, Shkodran Nikçi, has been threatened.
According to the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, the threats are about Nikçi's statements about the case of the beating in the night club in Peja, where the rapper Noizy was also involved.
"The Office of the Chief State Prosecutor (ZKPSH) condemns the threat that was made to the Senior Public Communication Officer in the Basic Prosecutor's Office of Peja, Mr. Shkodran Nikçit, which comes as a result of the pronouncements of his official work regarding the actions taken by the State Prosecutor for the case of the beating in a discotheque in Peja, where citizens of the Republic of Albania were involved.
The State Prosecutor in cooperation with other law enforcement institutions and the Albanian authorities will undertake all legal actions and will treat this issue with high seriousness, so that the threatner will be brought to justice as soon as possible", the reaction says.
Noizy is currently arrested and in custody in Albania, awaiting extradition to Kosovo, where he will face the charge of grievous bodily harm.
Noizy's lawyer has dismissed the accusations, saying that apart from the fact that the rapper was not himself a participant in the fight, the injured person does not have serious but light injuries, while the Prosecutor's Office of Peja refuses to receive the legal expert report on the wounds of caused.
