A photo of one of the perpetrators who would carry out the massacre at Taylor Swift's concert in Vienna has been published.

He is a 19-year-old Austrian but from North Macedonia (of Albanian origin) identified as Beran A., the authorities said, as materials were found on him that show he was radicalized by ISIS.

The authorities said that the 19-year-old had planned to kill as many people as possible with knives, with which he appears in the photo, but he would also use bombs, which he had prepared himself.

Along with him, a 17-year-old Austrian with Croatian and Turkish roots was arrested, according to the local authorities, who was also radicalized by ISIS and Al Qaeda. The latter had separated from his girlfriend only a short time ago.

Swift was due to perform three sold-out shows at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna starting today in front of a crowd of 170,000. The stadium is now empty after the shows were cancelled, but London's Metropolitan Police say a series of Swift concerts scheduled for next week in the UK will go ahead as normal.
