The police have arrested the Secretary General in the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, Joana Duro .

Sources indicate that she was put in handcuffs by order of SPAK under accusations of corruption.

Sources inform that the employee of the Ministry of Health, Laura Sheto , a specialist in co-governance, was also put in handcuffs.

The details of the corruption issue that led to the imprisonment of the two officials of the Ministry of Health are still unknown.

It seems that Prime Minister Edi Rama was aware of this arrest. During his speech, at the thanksgiving tour activity in Tirana, Rama said today that a former general secretary was caught red-handed receiving lek.
