The former Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani, spoke on the show "Zona Zero" on Top Neës, regarding the release from prison of the former Minister of the Interior, Saimir Tahiri.

Manjani stated that from the beginning he was against Tahir's punishment model, which according to him, has become a "scapegoat" for the new justice system. He said that the punishment of the former minister was unmotivated and without evidence.

In relation to the reaction of the American embassy to Tahir's release, Ylli Manjani has reacted harshly because, according to him, the USA has not invested the money to intervene in the justice issue.

He stated that the request of the embassy to request the documents of the process of Tahir's release is unconstitutional and should be rejected.

"Tahiri, a model of unjust punishment, was given a concession for the new justice system. He was sentenced in a forced manner, which lowered the stake in SPAK. His sentence was unmotivated. Regardless of the opinions we have about Tahiri as a former minister or a politician, since this is Bolshevik. I support Tahir to dismantle this model, because the public should be interested that the model of punishment without evidence and popular trial should be dismantled.

There are about 50 foreign embassies in Albania, which have correct agreements to protect the interests of their country, which should never enter the Albanian state. If the Russian ambassador had to ask for evidence and documents what should we do, legally it is the same. Zero rights. It is an unconstitutional request that should be rejected with disgust. What logic is this. This is a logic of a Karagozian state that accepts these. The US has not thrown money to intervene in court proceedings.
