Erjon Xhenje was only 19 years old. A brilliant physiotherapy student whose life ended on the evening of September 18th. Only 2 days later, the police said that the suspected author was Bajram Čekorja and Tornado Fusha, and the cause was a conflict that the parties had had 2 years earlier.

On August 29, Ismet Čekorja, the 24-year-old's father, came out in a statement to the media, denying that his son was behind the assassination and calling it staged. But 5 days later, on September 2, the 58-year-old was executed by an as yet unidentified person.

Although the killer of Ismet Çekore is not officially known, journalist Emi Kalaja says that the suspicions are that the cousins ​​of the young Erjon Xhenje are involved in his murder. According to the journalist, this is suspected to be the motive why Ismet Çekorja's son, precisely 24-year-old Bajram Çekorja, took revenge by taking the life of the 19-year-old young man.

Furthermore, the journalist says that at the moment it is not yet clear how the police of Shkodra managed to identify exactly the 24-year-old Čekorja as the author of the murder of the 19-year-old, however, she brings to attention that the authorities from the beginning hoped for the fingerprints of found in the crime weapon that the perpetrators abandoned in the Guerrile neighborhood.
