The former Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani, has narrated details from the interrogation of the former Minister of the Environment, Lefter Koka, a person accused of abuse of office, corruption and money laundering.

For "Top Story", Manjani said that the prosecution made the arrest and had no interest in discovering the truth. So, journalist Anila Hoxha raises the concern that in this case we are dealing with a half investigation.

Excerpts from the debate:

Manjani : According to the law, the Prosecutor must also speak. The prosecutor asked him very late, only once and showed no interest in discovering the truth.

Duma: When did he ask?

Manjani: After the arrest. Nothing about the arrest, they arrested them and then when they remember sometimes to do some questioning session. Now who will he talk to? I agree that he should talk, but with whom? Come and talk to the media? Come to Top Channel? He is in prison, he does not come here. He should talk to the prosecutor in prison. A prosecutor who will investigate, a prosecutor who will discover the truth of this thing must have some regrets there, to understand what happened behind.

Hoxha: We have a postulate in journalism: "Half truth is not true". The same for the investigation. A half-baked investigation is no investigation at all. So an investigation that started, as the prosecutor says, from the municipality and has no responsibility towards the municipality, continues further with actions based on e-mails to employees that show how they withdrew amounts and then went to the suspects, and did not it can prove what the money laundering scheme is, or what the corruption scheme is... it is not an investigation.
