The former police officer, Emiljano Nuhu, stated in a connection with the show "Top Story" that he had denounced what he called the "Rraja" clan since August 2018.

"In 2018, when I was an officer in Fushë Krujë, I informed the general director of the police, Ardi Veliu, and the Minister of the Interior, Fatmir Xhafa, about the members of the Rraja clan, but I received no response.

"I sent two emails. When I sent the first one I didn't get a response I thought from the workflow. When I started it for the second time, I still did not receive any response from Ardi Veliu, as we had previously received from other general directors", said Nuhu.

According to him, if the State Police had intervened, they would have arrested Redjan Rraja earlier, and the violence against the Jaja tribe would not have happened.

Nuhu said that today he is a political asylum seeker in Switzerland, after he said that he was threatened by the Rraja tribe, who at that time, according to him, were also supported by Taulant Balla.

He has also shown that in 2018, when the case of Xjisiela Maloku became public, the Rraja tribe together with Taulant Balla wrote to his office and pressured him so that the case would not become public.

"I left because I demanded my right as a judicial police officer in Fushë Krujë, I left because my life was in danger, and Taulant Balla supported the Rraja clan".

Asked by Grida Duma that now after the arrest of the members of the Rraja faction, has he had contact with the authorities, Nuhu denied any such thing.

"During this time I have no contact, I am being prosecuted at the prosecutor's office for some criminal offences, they are claiming to reveal the investigative secret and are pressuring me not to return to Albania. I am in the status of a political asylum seeker in Switzerland", said Nuhu.
