The former director of the Archives at the Ministry of the Interior, Kastriot Dervishi, has shown that in July 1990, there were 6,941 people registered as State Security informants.

In a post on social networks, Dervishi makes a summary at the district level, revealing that Shkodra was the district with the most registered informants, a total of 752, followed by Tirana with 625 informants.
