The Council of Ministers has approved the appointment of a new director in the General Directorate of Anticorruption.

By government decision, Insidor Rexhepi has been appointed General Director of this institution.

The Council of Ministers has tasked the Minister of State for Public Administration and Anticorruption, as well as the General Directorate of Anticorruption, to implement this decision.

Insidor Rexhepi in the years 2009-2012 exercised the function of inspector in various sectors of the Regional Directorate of Taxes, Tirana. In the years 2012-2017, he worked as an investigation inspector in the Directorate of Tax Investigation. While he recently worked as a legal advisor at the Independent Qualification Commission.

Rexhepi has attended continuous training and specializations, as well as he is well versed in the legislation of the tax investigation field, criminal investigations for crimes in the economic and financial field, after several years of experience in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, as well as with the referral, investigation and referral of many cases for trial.
