The Tirana police have identified and prosecuted a 16-year-old who lives in the USA, for inciting violence and hatred, through a video on the TikTok social network.

It is about a popular character among teenagers on the TikTok network, where he goes by the name "Gazi the Trickster".

The 16-year-old lives in the US, and yesterday, through a video on TikTok with a person claiming to be the cousin of the perpetrator of the murder of 14-year-old Martin Cami, used language inciting violence, murder and hatred.

Police notification:

Regarding a video published on a portal yesterday, we inform you that:

Specialists of the Cyber ​​Crimes Investigation Sector of DVP Tirana, immediately after the release of the footage, have identified the 16-year-old citizen who appears in the video, who lives in the USA.     

Following the actions for the case, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for the initiation of criminal proceedings, for the 16-year-old. 

This citizen, through social networks, has called for the incitement of hatred or fights, for the possession of cold weapons by children and for their use in conflicts. 

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution, for the criminal offense of "Inciting hatred or strife", provided by Article 265 of the Criminal Code.
