52-year-old Lefter (Krenar) Brisku from Kuçova died in the trauma hospital, after being barbarically raped by 20-year-old Bjorsi Shushari, who caught him in his apartment in an attempt to rob the chickens.

His brother, Shyqo Brisku, in a statement to the media, accuses the Police of not notifying them about the incident, but they found out about it from television. 

"At 9 o'clock he ran away from home, he was drunk. When we found out the next day, even the police made a mistake because they didn't tell us the situation. From here they took him to Berat, from Berat to Trauma. We found out the next day through television. I blame the police for notifying us. Today we found out that our brother died, we lost the light of our eye. He had a wife and a son. He was fine, he worked in a company."

He demands justice for the loss of his brother's life.

"He didn't kill a bird with a slingshot, but he killed a captive. A parent of a child, he touched us as brothers. He didn't react at all while he was in the hospital."

Even the neighbors say that they did not know him as a problematic person.

"Brilliant boy, I had him as a neighbor and I didn't have any arguments. I found out about the event on TV. They all drink brandy, but he wasn't in that state..."

The event happened at midnight on February 26 when Lefer Brisku tried to enter the property of the Shushari family to steal two chickens. At that moment, he was caught by 20-year-old Bjorsi Shushari, who brutally raped him, causing multiple fractures to his head, which then caused his death.
