After the attack on e-Albania and the TIMS system, which guarantees border control, the question arises, how can the private sector be protected from such attacks?
Vigilance is being urged by cyber security experts amid what appears to be a digital offensive from Iran.
"Corporations and businesses that base their work on keeping data, with communications in electronic forms, should be much more aware than they have been until today, says Erion Demiri, former member of AKCESK.
Meanwhile, expert Demiri also shows how the attack on the TIMS system took place, and what distinguishes it from the e-Albania platform.
"These are two separate infrastructures and this shows that the same front door was not followed."
The report of a technical investigation, published a few days ago by the Microsoft company that worked to stop the cyber attack on the government system of Albania, dictates that the attack began in May 2021 and that the government databases were attacked by four groups linked to the Iranian government. /A2
