A 40-year-old man declared internationally wanted has been arrested by the police.

"After receiving information from the Research Section at DVP Tirana, about the location of a highly wanted person, as well as thanks to the timely exchange of information between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome, it became possible to capture him in Italy and extradite him to our country, of the Albanian citizen declared internationally wanted: Besnik Lamçja, 40 years old.

This citizen has been announced as an international wanted man after the Special Court of First Instance in Tirana has sentenced him to 25 years in prison for the criminal offenses of "Premeditated murder" committed in collaboration, "Theft with a weapon", committed in collaboration and "Carrying without a permit and the production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
