After the serious incident some time ago where Taulant Malaj stabbed his daughter, neighbor and injured his wife several times, the Italians have started collecting funds for Tefta Malaj and her 5-year-old son.

Tefta and her family lived for many years in Italy, but they were originally from the villages of Vlora.

The campaign was launched in Torremaggiore, in the Foggia area, by some citizens to help the 39-year-old Albanian woman who survived the massacre in the house where she lived with her family, Italian media reports.

Taulant Malaj killed his 16-year-old daughter Jessica and 51-year-old neighbor Massimo De Santis. The woman, with her 5-year-old son, who survived the massacre he witnessed, is currently in a country far from Torremaggiore, after receiving threats from her husband's relatives and hateful comments, and has expressed her will not to returns to the house where his daughter was killed.

In the days after the double murder, the lawyer who was helping the woman, Michele Sodrio, had also contacted the Municipality of Torremaggiore to request financial assistance for Tefta and her child.

Sodrio says that he is "happy, above all for the solidarity that many people are showing".  

How the serious event happened
, the jealous 45-year-old Taulant Malaj is the author of two serious murders. He first killed the Italian neighbor Massimo De Santis at the entrance of the palace, whom he hit with about twenty blows with a key blade. He was shot in the chest, abdomen and head: there was no escape for him. He then went home to kill the wife, but it was the daughter who came before the father whom he was trying to stop but was left dead. The 5-year-old boy was hiding behind the sofa and was not hurt, while Tefta was injured. It was she herself who raised the alarm by notifying the police, who arrested the still bleeding Albanian.

After the serious crime, the Albanian shot a video with his cell phone immediately after the assassination, first filming the dead body of the man and then filming his daughter and his wife in a semi-conscious state. The video was sent by the man to a compatriot living in northern Italy who immediately notified the local police and most likely sent the images to other identified persons, who in turn distributed the video via the Internet.

The reason for this crime was that the 45-year-old Albanian baker suspected that the Italian and his wife had an intimate relationship.

In the testimony given, Malaj confessed to the investigators that after killing Massimo De Santis, whom he believed to be his wife's lover, he entered the bedroom where his wife was, whom he had hit first and at the moment his 16-year-old daughter had intervened to save her mother. He added that he had attacked his daughter with a knife without realizing it was her. Then Malaj discovers that from the bedroom, his wife together with the Italian escaped to the kitchen where he continued to beat them. 4 days after the serious crime, the Albanian Taulant Malaj realized what he had done, bursting into tears at the first session where he was informed of his arrest and the recovery of his testimony. According to the lawyers, the Albanian is in a serious condition.
