The Court of Kukes has issued a 3-month prison sentence for the six Syrian, Algerian and Moroccan immigrants, who were arrested two days ago at the green border in Morina. This event was also accompanied by an armed clash between the group of human traffickers and the police.
There were no injuries from the exchange of fire, while one person managed to escape. According to the defense lawyer assigned by the state, Aurora Guska, the arrested only wanted to cross the green border to EU countries, and that the clandestine traffickers who shot at the blue ones, are 3 other people, also foreigners.
3 of the foreign immigrants had come to Albania for the first time who wanted to return to Greece, while the other 3 are repeaters in their attempt to cross the border. 2 convicts in Kosovo, with 14 months, had also learned Albanian. The third was denied asylum in Kosovo.
