The administrator of the football club "Korabi" in Dibër, Fehmi Meziu (Mëziu) was arrested by the police of Dibër after he was sentenced by the Italian authorities to 13 years in prison for prostitution.

The Court of Appeal in Naples sentenced the 51-year-old to 13 years in prison for the criminal offenses of "Exploitation of prostitution" and "Criminal organization". The 51-year-old man was arrested in the city of Peshkopia, during the coded operation "Result".

Meziu is expected to undergo extradition procedures in Italy in order to execute the decision of the Court of Appeal in Naples.

The operation for the arrest for the purpose of extradition to Italy of the 51-year-old was carried out by FAST Albania, in close cooperation with the police of Dibra and Interpol Tirana.
