The police say that they have prevented a conflict between several people today at Llamani beach in Himare.
It is learned that the reason for the quarrel is the competition between the businesses that operate on this highly frequented beach during the summer season. According to the police, the 74-year-old owner of a business sent two of his employees to distribute leaflets on the beach, including the area near the adjacent business.
This apparently irritated the owners of the other business, who responded with violence. The police say that they managed to prevent the escalation of the conflict by escorting both sides.
