The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, visited this evening in the emergency room of QSUT the head of the Delvina Police Station, Commissioner Agim Troci, who suffered burns to his abdomen, arm and legs during efforts to help extinguish a fire in the area of Senica, Delvina.

The President praised the courageous act and dedication of Commissioner Troci and gave an awareness message to the citizens: "I highly appreciate the commitment of the fire brigade, civil emergencies, armed forces and local government in coping with this difficult situation with very high temperatures.

I invite citizens to show care and responsibility – prevention starts with each of us. Cooperation and contribution with these structures is essential for the safety of life and property.

Any act of arson is punishable and brings serious consequences to life and property."

President Begaj emphasized that the institutions are on full alert and present in all the most problematic areas of the country.
