If the drug test for drivers is positive, the measures are revocation of the license, fines and imprisonment.

Sultana Kuka, urban traffic specialist told "Good Morning" in Euronews Albania that a driver who has consumed narcotics will have to retake the tests for the license to get it back.

Narcotics use leads to imprisonment of up to three years and the fine is subject to the article being violated.

The drivers that will be tested are those that from a risk analysis made by the police, it is estimated that they may have consumed drugs. This method will be performed by taking secretions from the person and the device will also confirm the type of narcotic.

Kuka, explained that the procedure will take a little longer than the alcohol test.
