"Hackers" threaten Albanians with anonymous messages, leaving Meta and

Thousands of threatening messages are arriving from unidentified numbers on the cellphones of Albanian citizens. This is happening a few days after the hacking of the online system of the "e-Albania" government portal.

The source of these messages is still unknown, but it is suspected that the phone numbers may have been obtained after hacking the government's online system.

"Why should our taxes be spent on Durrës terrorists?", "Albanian politicians have sacrificed people to support ISIS and MKO terrorists" are some of the messages received on the phones of Albanians.

Doubts increase even more when the message calls for contacting the numbers "068 20 31 701" (which is the contact number with the Presidency), 069 70 47 470 (contact with Kryemadhi) and 068 20 30 272 (contact with the office of the Prime Minister ).

All the messages came from "IKUB 2016" to different numbers of citizens, increasing the risk that the data of the telephone companies were affected. "IKUB" is the name of one of the companies that cooperated in the establishment of the government system "e-Albania".

The cyber attack comes a few days after SPAK checks in the homes of the Mujahideen in the camp located in Manza, Durrës.
