Greece brings firefighting plane to Sazan: Air intervention needed

For four days, the island of Sazan has been in battle with the flames and now the Albanian government, in difficulty to extinguish the fire by circumstantial means has decided to intervene from the air.

For this, Greece has come to the rescue, responding to a request to bring a Canadair CL 415 aircraft to extinguish the fire in Sazan.

This is what the Ministry of Defense informs, adding that the experts assessed that the intervention from the air is necessary, but the work of the forces on the ground remains essential.
