The criminal group that cultivated cannabis was hit, narcotics worth 100,000

After 2 operations, the Tirana police have hit a criminal group that cultivated cannabis in a villa.

From the operations, 3 people were arrested, narcotics worth 100 thousand euros were seized.

Also, 24 thefts were revealed in Kavaja.

Police notification

 During these 2 operations, a villa adapted for the cultivation of cannabis was identified, a significant quantity of cannabis sativa narcotics worth about 100,000 euros was seized, 3 firearms, combat ammunition, 1 grenade were seized, and it was possible to discover and document 24 thefts in apartments, which happened in the district of Kavaja, more specifically;   
 
From the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force, after an investigation with special methods, the coded police operation "GREEN HOUSE" was successfully completed. To finalize this operation, the Police structures have also used an intelligent drone tool.   
 
During the operation, a criminal group was hit that was active in the field of cannabis cultivation, by means of lamps, and its trading, in the city of Tirana.  
  
From the Narcotics Investigation Section in the Tirana Local Police Directorate, based on information intelligence that a criminal group was distributing cannabis-type narcotics in bulk, they referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, which recorded the criminal proceedings.
 
As a result of the investigation, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, it became possible to identify these citizens and locate the premises that were prepared to cultivate cannabis-type narcotic plants.  
 
Based on these evidences, the coded "Green House" police operation was successfully organized and finalized, within which the following citizens were caught and arrested in the act: - EP
 
alias EB, 29 years old, resident in Tirana;  
 
- AM, 44 years old, resident of Mallkuç village, Fushë-Kruje; 
 
- GM, 26 years old, resident of Mallkuç village, Fushë-Kruje.  
 
From the control exercised in the residence of the citizen AM, in Mallkuç, the Police found and seized as material evidence, 61 kilograms of narcotic cannabis, packaged ready for sale, worth about 100,000 euros.   
 
In addition, the control found and seized various equipment used for the cultivation of cannabis indoors, such as: lamps, aspirators, ventilators, ventilation filters, etc., a shotgun, military ammunition, sums of money, 2 vehicles and 3 mobile devices .   
 
From the verifications carried out, it was found that the 3 arrested persons, after cultivating cannabis in the residence of citizen AM, packaged it and then sold it. 

This operation was made possible thanks to the cooperation with DVP Durrës.

During the second coded operation "TRINOMI", developed by the structures of the Kavaja Police Station, after a several-month investigation, it became possible to clarify and document with legal evidence 24 thefts in apartments, which occurred in the district of Kavaja , during the year 2022 and the first 2 months of 2023.    
  
During this operation, 3 citizens were arrested, 2 of them previously convicted for theft, and the stolen items were seized. During this operation, in cooperation with the Elbasan Local Police Directorate, 2 firearms and ammunition were seized.  
 
As part of this operation, the following citizens were arrested:
 
- ET, 21 years old and EQ, 28 years old, both previously convicted of theft, and EM, 32 years old, all three residents of Durrës.  
 
These citizens, in cooperation with each other, from the funny month of 2022 to the month of February 2023, have committed thefts in different apartments, in the district of Kavaja, mainly in the apartments of immigrants. 
 
From the totality of investigative actions, it has been found that these citizens are the authors of 24 cases of thefts in apartments, where they took valuables, furniture, work tools and other electrical appliances.   
 
After the verifications carried out, it turned out that ET and EQ citizens cooperated with the EM citizen to carry out the thefts and derive benefits from them.
