The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, announced today that the maintenance teams of the Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH) are cleaning road axes every day from waste dumped irresponsibly by vehicle drivers and passengers.

"The maintenance teams of the Albanian National Road Administration have been cleaning the road axes on a daily basis, overflowing with waste dumped in resorts, irresponsibly by vehicle drivers and passengers," writes Deputy Prime Minister Balluku in a post on social networks.

According to her, despite the continuous interventions of maintenance workers, the pollution problem remains a concern.

"Our employees have continuously intervened, but this is not enough," the Deputy Prime Minister continued.

For this reason, Balluku warned that the Traffic Monitoring Center's cameras will also be used to identify and fine polluters, until full awareness is achieved.
