The Special Court has ordered the security measure "suspension of the exercise of duty or public functions for the former mayor of Patos and the former prefect of Fier, Rajmonda Balilaj.

Rajmonda Balilaj, previously mayor of Patos for 3 terms, held the post of Prefect of Fier for only 3 months.

By order of SPAK, the Special Court suspended the official of the local government from office, with suspicions that in two cases he violated equality in tenders and falsification of documents.

The same decision of suspension from office was given to the former vice-mayor of Patos municipality and to 5 other specialists in the capacity of members of the bid evaluation commission, the general secretariat of this municipality, urban planning specialists and engineers.

There are two procurement procedures that raise doubts about SPAK investigators, who are suspected of falsifying documents and violating equality in tenders.
