Two people have been criminally prosecuted by the Vlora police for intentional arson.

The police say that AL and Sh.L citizens set fires on the lands of Delisuf village, causing the flames to spread and burn other surrounding plots.

Police notification:

2 citizens were identified and criminally prosecuted in the villages of Delisuf and Gjorm.  

Following the investigative work to identify and arrest the perpetrators of arson, as a result of the investigative actions carried out by the Vlorë Police Station and the Selenica Police Station, two cases of arson in the villages of Delisuf and Gjorm were clarified. For these cases, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office and criminal proceedings were initiated for the citizens of AL and Sh. L.

It is suspected that the citizen AL, yesterday, in the village of Delisuf, burned with fire an area of ​​land with different vegetation, which he had rented, endangering the plots in the vicinity, owned by other citizens.

Citizen Sh. L. is suspected that yesterday, in the village of Gjorm, he started a fire in order to clean the yard of his apartment, and as a result of the spread of the flames, an area of ​​land with various vegetation and olive trees, owned by another citizen, was burned. .

The procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecution, for the criminal offense "Destruction of property by fire".

The Local Directorate of the Vlora Police appeals to all residents, and in particular to those who use grazing land, not to cause arson under any circumstances, as they will face the law. The police invite citizens to report to the number 112 for any case of arson or illegality in general, guaranteeing anonymity and a quick and impartial response from the police structures.
