New details have emerged regarding the serious incident that occurred in Greece where a 2-year-old Albanian girl slipped and fell into a fountain.
In a statement to local media, the person who provided first aid to the little girl, a restaurant worker who lied about being a doctor just to be allowed to save the little one, recounted the dramatic moments of the event.
In his speech, the young man emphasizes that when he saw a crowd of people suddenly gathering in one place, he thought it was a moment of joy. But when he approached the young man, he was faced with screams and anxiety from those present because a little girl was in serious health condition.
So, the young man decided to take control of the situation and intervened by giving the child CPR.
At that moment, he says, the girl showed signs of life because she started to spit out a liquid from her mouth. But as soon as the little girl's parents noticed that someone was approaching their child, they rushed to pick her up.
Even though the young man insisted that they not move him, they took him and, together with the police, disappeared from the scene.
The serious incident occurred in the Kallithea area, Greece, where a 2-year-old girl accidentally fell into the fountain of "Kyprou" Square.
