Journalist Adriatik Doçi has spoken about the report made to SPAK about the former deputy prime minister Arben Ahmetaj, and about the two prosecutors Eneid Nakuçi and Klodian Braho, who according to him deliberately left out of the investigation the former number two of the government.
Doçi spoke on Dritare TV about the evidence he presented to SPAK, according to which, they implicate Ahmetaj in the case of incinerators, and he even emphasized that the former minister is the real owner of the incinerators, explaining the scheme.
"There was a decision by SPAK to close the issue of incinerators, specifically for that of Fier and Elbasan. Before the closure of the file was signed and the referral of this file to the Court, for the punishment of the persons identified by SPAK as responsible for this affair, I received some evidence that among the names that had been sent to the court as implicated, there was also the names of other high-level officials, who were deliberately left out of the investigations by the two prosecutors of the case, Eneid Nakuçi and Klodian Braho.
Specifically, it was about Arben Ahmatej.
What exactly happened?
In April 2014, Arben Ahmetaj signed the granting of the incinerators concession, where the beneficiary would be a company owned by Klodian Zoto. From 2013 to 2017, Zoto made payments to Arben Ahmetaj, covering expenses in 5-star hotels across Europe. We are talking about hotels where it costs up to 8 thousand euros a night. Here we are dealing with suspected corrupt payments that Zoto makes to Ahmetaj, in exchange for the latter's involvement in the concession procedure. The evidence I provided was found on Klodian Zoto's computer.
In my opinion, Arben Ahmetaj is the real owner of the incinerators, but he has two of his friends to camouflage themselves and give them the concession", said Doçi.
