Prime Minister Edi Rama delivered a strong message today from Durrës to local leaders across the country, demanding the dismissal of all heads of administrative units by Monday.

Meanwhile, in Durrës, the movements started a day ago. In accordance with the demands of the meeting held three days ago in the Municipality of Durrës by Rama, the administrators of the five administrative units of the Municipality of Durrës: Ishëm, Sukth, Manëz, Katund i Ri and Rrashbull have already submitted their resignations. These are Kadri Gjyli, Edlir Cërri, Muharrem Sula, Eltion Preni and Albert Bukaçi.

Also, the administrators of the six regions of the coastal city have been removed from office, namely Roland Çobani, Ilir Ngresi, Myslym Hasanaj, Davide Ndoi, Jurgen Tabaku and Jetmir Pupla.

Meanwhile, the resignations have also included the directors of the Municipality of Durres and those of the regional directorates, who will be subject to an evaluation process by a special commission led by Mayor Emiriana Sako. Among the candidacies for the new directors are expected to be not only new names, but also some of the resigned directors who may return.
