Albano Velo and Andrew (Edvin) Bode have been identified as the two perpetrators of the December 16 assassination, where businessman Edmond Papa was killed at the entrance of a bar in the Selita area of Tirana.
The first was arrested and is behind bars, while the second is still being sought by the police. Andrew (Edvin) Bode had the role of the executor, while Albano Velo that of the organizer and observer, as Boden drove away from the scene after the assassination.
But, from the photos posted on social networks, Andrew (Edvin) Bode and Albano Velo seem to have an early friendship with each other. They appear at lunches together and with other friends or even on vacation.
It is not known whether they both had an interest in killing Edmond Pope or Andrew (Edvin) Bode was paid by Albano Velo. It is suspected that the murder took place for revenge, after the murder of Aleksandër Sadikaj, who was the brother-in-law of Albano Velo.
