Viktor Cervanaku

The Court of Special Appeal has left the accused in prison for the cocaine laboratory discovered in Frakull of Fier. The appeal considered the request for a change of measure only for 5 of the accused, since the rest of the arrested did not appeal.

More specifically, it is about Enxhi Ferhati, Bledar Matoshi, Klajdi Matoshi, Redin Meshi and Julian Malaj, who will continue to stay in the cell.

They have asked for a lighter security measure or that of prison until the results of the tests come out, since they claim that they had no information about the cocaine. Referring to their request for a change of measure, it is said that the defendants did not have information that the fertilizer was mixed with cocaine, this also refers to the customs clearance papers.

SPAK presented as evidence interceptions and film footage that convinced Appel to approve the decision of the First Instance.

After three months of interceptions and observations by SPAK, DEA and the Montenegrin police, the police operation was carried out on November 24.

Cocaine, hidden in bags of artificial fertilizer, was discovered by Montenegrin police in July, with the help of the Directorate of Revenue and Customs, after the cargo arrived at the Port of Tivar. Inspectors of the Anti-Crime Sector in cooperation with the High State Prosecutor's Office and the Albanian police kept the shipment under surveillance until it went to its final destination, Albania

In Frakull, about 430 kg of cocaine mixed with organic fertilizer was discovered in the apartment of former mayor Viktor Červanaku.
