Meteorologist Lajda Porja has shown that the warm weather will continue for several days, but in the second part of January, temperatures are expected to drop. It is expected that there will be rain and snow after January 13.

"We don't expect to have any extreme cold like we've been used to in recent years. Mainly the beginning of January was cold when we had low temperatures. This year has started completely differently. We will not miss the cold winter days," Porja told ABC.

"We expect that in the second half there will be not only rain but also snowfall, especially in the mountainous areas. The rest has rain. It is predicted that the cold days will be after the 13th.", she added, speaking afterwards about the icy weather that has affected the USA.

Asked by the journalist if we will be affected by these temperatures, she said that the northern countries of Europe will be mainly affected. "The United Kingdom and the northern areas will be partially hit, but we are below. These come more degraded as air masses.

From time to time we have had from the North Pole, but with temperatures down to minus 10. It is not that there are signals for the so-called "polar bomb". Until the middle of January, there are no low temperatures," she said.
