Journalist Flamur Gajtani from Kosovo has shed more light on the murder of the 31-year-old from Kukësi Visart Cengu, by Dibran Hoxhaj known as 'Cobra' in Prizren. Gajtani stated that what is more serious in this incident is that the Border Police in Morina did not notice that the car in which Cengu was traveling with his friends had bullet marks and wounded people inside.

"They crossed the border and did not notice at the border that there are injured people inside the car and that the car was damaged", said Gajtani.

He explained that Cengu with his friends, Arben Basha and Rufgen Shehu, went to the hospital in Kukës and not Prizren, although it was closer, because they were still afraid of Dibran Hoxhaj.

"They went to Kukes Hospital, not Prizren, because they were afraid that he would follow them from behind and that the balance would be worse," he added for Report TV.

Journalist Flamur Gajtani went to the victim's house in Kukës, where he showed that the family denied that the reason was the unpaid bill of 400 euros, and while he said that he is very upset because he never expected that the boy was killed by Kosovo Albanians.

"The victim's grandmother said that we had heard about him, but we did not know him closely. They denied the issue of the 400 euro bill, saying that it was not in their culture to eat something and not pay, considering it a stab in the back by the Kosovars, they did not expect that their son would be killed by the Kosovars" , declared Gaitani.  

He also gave details of how Dibran Hoxhaj was known in Prizren.

"Since 2008, it is said that they are being investigated for 16 criminal offenses, possession of weapons without a permit, for conflicts, manipulation of evidence, in the bar when the murder took place, when the police went, they removed the security cameras, therefore the staff were also arrested local. We have also seen him in TV shows, where he portrayed the life of a gangster, surrounded by dozens of people, so he is not one person at all" , concluded Gajtani.

Inside the 'Kobra City' bar, a physical fight started between three young men who had come to Prizren from Kukësi to celebrate. After they left the bar during the attempt to leave with their vehicle, the young people were shot by the owner of the facility, Dibran Hoxhaj. As a result, Visart Cengu died on the way to be taken to the Kukes hospital, while his friend, Rufgen Shehu was then taken to the Trauma hospital in Tirana, where he is in a stable state of health. He was shot in the leg.

The serious incident happened around the early hours of the morning of January 3. The cause of the conflict, according to what has been reported in the Kosovo media, is reported to have been a bill of 400 euros, with which the young people from Kukës did not agree, but the family denied it.
