Spartak Dobi, the husband of the cleaner Rezarta Dobi, spoke to Euronews Albania, after his wife had over 400,000 euros seized, which she had stolen from various houses in Tirana.

With tears in his eyes, he says that he was not aware of the woman's actions, adding that their economic situation was very good.

He said that he does not know anything about the thefts that the woman has done together with his son.

"I didn't know about the event and I don't want to either. I have been with him for 25 years. I have two reeds with him. My girlfriend is pregnant and she is crying. The boy had no reason to be involved in this event. I don't know exactly, he killed them all. The police came yesterday. The police found the money yesterday, I didn't know anything. I get a good pension. I worked as a policeman myself," says Spartak Dobi.

He said that today he met the Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja, who promised that his son Javier Dobi, who stole an apartment together with his mother, will do their best to release him from prison.

The elderly man further says that the 23-year-old is innocent and has nothing to do with the thefts he is accused of.

"Today I spent the whole day with the Minister of Justice. I told him about the incident and he said we will do our best to free the boy, but not the woman. I told the woman to take her further to Istanbul. The boy is not guilty, his mother taught him. We had everything in order. The boy went to work at night," he said.

"The woman was helped by her family members"

He emphasized that the money was found in his house, but that his wife was helped by relatives to hide it in the apartment.

He further emphasized that his wife did not give him the opportunity to notice that he was stealing while he emphasized that he also handed over the pension money to her.

"I don't know where he took the money, I took my salary and gave it to my wife. I ask the media not to lie to you. The money was found in my house, there is no way that the woman put it in there. I suspect that my wife's family members are also involved. There are many. If they leave my sister without bread, I will take it to my son," he added.
