It is not only extreme poverty, but also the models served that quick money can be made by committing a crime, that has led a group of minors to plan robberies throughout the month of December by attacking peers.

This case was investigated by the police and submitted to the court for 17 episodes of theft.

"We are the strong ones in the square, we are the ones who make the terror in the square". With this phrase, the minors, who were all students in different schools, addressed their peers with iron gloves and knives, who spotted them from a distance, choosing them by the clothes they were wearing. The idea to rob children of their age because, as one of them stated, they are easily scared, was given by one of the minors who told his friends "we have to make money".

Every day, without hesitating, the children chose the darkness and the area from Skënderbej square to the AKSHI and after pointing cold weapons they asked: how much lek do you have with you?

But only one of them was charged with responsibility, he is 17 years old, the other three aged 14 escaped because of the friendly justice for the minor.

The 17-year-old, according to the file that was shown to Top Channel, confesses that his parents are divorcing and in recent months mother and son moved to different houses for rent, since they had no money to pay.

He begged to be allowed to go to school.

For the 17-year-old, the court imposed an obligation to appear, while for the 14-year-old, their names were simply written on the criminal police cards./ TCH
