A serious incident was recorded in the village of Lofkënd in Mallakastra, where two residents of the area, while cleaning the well, got trapped inside it.

It is about Bledar Bregun, 33 years old, who is in the hospital of Fier, and Besnik Veliaj, 38 years old, who has passed away. Firefighter Albens Zotaj, who came in to save the two residents, was also injured in the serious incident.

Tearful and in a difficult psychological state, Enkelejda Banaj emphasizes that her brother was a friend of the victim and both of them had entered together to clean the well.

"What can I say, the desert, I came from Patos today, what can I say. They opened the well to irrigate the lands. They were friends, they were both single. Mom notified my husband in Patos and we came. They entered to clean the well", the 33-year-old's sister confesses.
