Falsified documents for Shaljan to become an agent, two arrested in the ranks of the AMP

The Police Supervision Agency has detained two police officers, who are suspected of colluding to forge the Muçi Shaljani Recruitment Credibility Certificate without reflecting in it the data that constitutes a cause for violating security conditions.

In the AMP announcement, Deputy Commissioner BC, with the duty of Specialist for Crime Investigation, and Inspector AZ, with the duty of Deputy/Specialist for Community Policing, at Police Commissariat No. 3, Tirana, are accused of committing the criminal offenses of "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms" and "Abuse of office".

Following the communication regarding the incident that occurred yesterday at the roundabout near the "Mother Teresa" airport, the Police Supervision Agency, after conducting investigative actions, has detained police officers Deputy Commissioner BC, with the duty of Specialist for Crime Investigation, and Inspector AZ, with the duty of Deputy/Specialist for Community Policing, at Police Commissariat No. 3, Tirana, suspected of committing the criminal offenses of "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms" and "Abuse of office".

These police officers are suspected of having colluded to compile the Credibility Certificate for citizen M.Sh., without reflecting in it the data that constitute a cause for the violation of security conditions. This unfulfilled obligation is stipulated in the provisions of the law "On State Police" and the laws that regulate the activity of law enforcement agencies, which has led to the employment of this citizen at the Police Supervision Agency.

Also, from the preliminary actions carried out by the AMP in relation to the recruitment process of citizen M.Sh., violations of legal procedures were found. At the end of the verifications, in order to objectively and comprehensively investigate the case, the documentary practice was sent in the form of a criminal report to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, to determine the investigative group and the legal responsibilities of the persons who were found to be in illegality.

Investigations continue to fully clarify the procedures followed and the possible involvement of other persons in this case.
