Sulo Halili , the 27-year-old Albanian who was found handcuffed and burned in a car in Greece, has been threatened by his girlfriend's ex-partner.
Halil's relatives are expected to approach Greek authorities in order to reveal information about the mysterious murder.
Greek media write that behind this event lies a romantic story.
Police investigations show that the victim's girlfriend's ex-partner had threatened the 27-year-old Albanian, saying " I'll burn you ."
Greek police said that Sulo went out under the pretext of a romantic date, but was kidnapped, tortured for 24 hours, shot, and transported to an uninhabited location, where the perpetrators then set him on fire and fled in an unknown direction.
The 27-year-old left Halkida last Tuesday afternoon to go to a meeting in Vilia.
Upon arriving at the village stadium, he called his wife at 7:15 to tell her everything was okay.
His car was found there, but the killers captured him, handcuffed him, tortured him for hours, and then killed and burned him.
According to the forensic report, the victim was shot with at least one bullet before his body burned inside the car.
A lot of evidence shows that some people not only wanted the 27-year-old of Albanian origin dead, but also harbored a special hatred for him.
Greek police are investigating further into the serious incident, which shocked Greece a few days ago./ Newsit.gr
