Forensic experts have concluded that the bones found in Fushë Kuqe in early April belong to a person who was ill-treated before the murder.
Specialists say they have noticed injuries caused to the victims with solid objects, while the person to whom the bones belonging that were accidentally discovered by the fire in the area has not been identified yet.
Forensic experts have concluded that a part of the bones found in the area of Fushë-Kuqës, still unidentified, turn out to be damaged with strong tools.
Specialists are not able to determine what tools were used to hit the victim, but this has raised suspicions that the person before being killed was raped with solid objects.
It was previously suspected that these bones belonged to 16-year-old Mariglen Gjonaj, who disappeared about 7 years ago.
In the hope of identifying the person belonging to the bones found inside the bushes in the Fushë-Kuqe area, the Kurbin prosecutor's office decided to take a DNA sample of Gjonaj's mother.
She traveled from Italy to Tirana, where she was given a DNA profile.
The analysis does not yet have a concrete answer from biology experts, but sources from the prosecution strongly believe that DNA confrontation could lead to the identification of the missing young man.
Even if it were a positive response that would confirm the same profiles, the Prosecution will need a lot of work to uncover the perpetrators of serious crime.
